Hi, I'm Jordana (she/her). I'm an Assistant Professor and a member of the Cognition and Brain Sciences Program (CABS) in the Psychology Department at the University of Victoria.

I completed my PhD with Dr. Jennifer Ryan and Dr. Bradley Buchsbaum in the Psychology Department at the University of Toronto and the Rotman Research Institute at Baycrest and my Postdoctoral Fellowship with Dr. Daniel Schacter in the Psychology Department at Harvard University.

My research uses eye movement monitoring and neuroimaging techniques to investigate the role of overt gaze shifts (i.e., eye movements) in memory encoding and retrieval. More broadly, I'm interested in exploring how interactions among various cognitive and effector systems drive goal directed behaviour and how these relationships change with healthy aging.
